If we think it from the viewpoint of legal staff, they get tired easily, get headaches and also get easily bored of reviewing the documents on daily basis, but the computers neither get bored, tired or a headache.

3. Robots by astronauts:

Space is the biggest example of making use of the robots. The NASA’s robonaut is the best example of using the Android technology.

It is highly equipped with wide range of the sensors which help to do all the menial jobs just like cleaning, assisting the humans in space work and so on.

So, in this sector too the robots are being used.

4. Our brave Soldiers:

In the field of the army, the robots are being used. Although the soldiers are not replaced with the robots, yes the drone and the other machines are being used in order to combat the missions.

One of the best examples is MAARS which provided robots in Iraq.

Not only the manufacturing hub but also the writers use the software which is no less than the robots themselves.

Also, there are some machines which generate stories. It is considerably less expensive and more accurate.

The robots are also used in places where a human cannot reach. There are some jobs that are created by natural disaster calamities.

Disadvantages of Robots in the Workplace:

If there are advantages, then there are also many disadvantages to it. Some of the disadvantages are as follows:

1. Increases the unemployment rate:

The unemployment in the country rises as the manual work reduces and the whole work is performed by the robots.

The labour is no longer needed, which reduces the chances of employment in the industries. This is one of the disadvantages of industrial robots.

2. The poor get poorer and the owners get rich:

The poor labours get no work to do, due to which they get poorer. On the other hand, the owners get the work in no time, with increased productivity and more efficiency.

This makes them feather their own caps; making them richer day by day.

3. The cost of affording robots is very high:

Buying the robots and the robotic machines is not a child’s play. Not every company can afford the same.

So, the ones who can afford is a boon for them, but those who are not able to buy has to face the stiff competition. That also lags them behind, getting no place in the market.

4. Financial budget increases than expected:

At times, the financial budget increases than what was expected. So, it puts the company in great financial issues leading the company to be bankrupt, which is a huge unbearable loss for any company.

Also, the maintenance cost of the robot is high. When the company itself is reeling under the pressure of the financial crisis, then how can the company be expected to maintain the robotic machines. It isn’t possible.

5. Maintenance and installation cost is huge:

Once the robots are installed in the company, it certainly is not enough. Maintenance of the machines cost even more than its installation.

And this cannot be afforded by all companies as the profits are not always raining incessantly.

Even if the robots are ruling the work in many places, the labour is needed to assist them. This is because the whole work cannot be thrown in the ability of the robots.

So, for this reason, the employees need training and that too involves cost. So, this way a lot of money is involved with the installation of machines in the workplace.

7. Robots can be a danger even:

Yes, they can even be a danger. This is because no one can trust a robot as it does not have a human brain which can think before doing anything.

Whatever is fed to the robots through chips is performed even if it goes wrong. Once the machine damages, the whole company can come under chaos.

So, this is also one of the drawbacks for the installation of the machines or the robots in the company.

8. The robots produce a lot of electrical waste:

The robots cannot do something for which they are not designed to do. It makes the people lazy, which is neither good for the company nor for the employees.

Also, the waste produced by the robots cannot be used anywhere which is a huge loss. This also forms one of the biggest disadvantages of having robots and less labour at workplaces.
